Nalanda Inn

I was going to attend a business meeting. The conference hall in the first floor straight from the reception.so i don't know about the rooms but know about their service and food. It was really good...in food serving small communication errors happen. Overall nice.
Hall and the toilets are very clean. Location is also nice and beautiful

very poor service. these people don't know how to treat a guest. the person in the reception is not at all supportive. feels like i was in a government office. Room was ok. it has a dead telephone. they dont provide water, towel and even a soap. hot water was not available. i booked breakfast along with this room but they will not inform you in the morning so that i want to enquire multiple times about the time of breakfast. the guy in the reception for morning shift was not at all supportive i need to show the booking details for getting breakfast and remember they offer complimentary breakfast but with a limit of 100 rs per head. u can get better food from outside. finally don't book this one u will get a better service in any other hotels.

rooms are somewhat neat n spacious. ac working, remote not. intercom in one room not working. wifi on demand. 24 hr reception. hot water available. toiletries for single person only in the double room!
if you get rooms on the 2nd or 3rd floor, you will have to climb the whole stairs because no lift is in the building. generally ok.

Not recommendable unless your only intention is to get drunk with friends

1. Not family friendly
2. Wifi was not working most of the times
3. A/C was not working properly
4. Cockroaches were running all around
5. Complementary breakfast(Which is provided at higher room rent) is limited to 100/Person and cannot add Juice/Soft Drinks not even mineral water
6. They consider mineral water as a welcome drink even if your stay is more than 1 day you have to pay additional amount for getting another bottle.
7. Food is also not good better never opt for complementary food.

Small size room, and the bathroom toilet seats flush everything was broken and not good condition.We could see lot of ants moving around and some even in our bed. Hot water was not available in another room we booked for our family. No Lift, surprisingly for a Hotel in current times and they have 2 floors. Will not recommend at all, felt like for the cost taken for a ride.

Reception not courteous. Despite online booking in advance late checkin customers are at their mercy. No consideration for Senior citizens. Drinking Water not provided. Intercom out of order. cockroaches are seen around. Poor maintenance of rooms.

Rooms are excellent and staffs are good. Well maintained and clean rooms. Little bit disappointed on the early check in. It's only 2 hrs of early check. Though the rooms are available but they charged me Rs 300 for 2 hrs and in booking I included free breakfast but they said complementry breakfast is limited and worth Rs 200 in total of 2 person per day. So they collected extra money for that too. Room service available any time but the service people enter our room while giving food instead of waiting outside. Overall it's nice place to stay but the extra charges are being collected.

They take booking showing the images of Nalanda inn, if it's budget non A/c promo rooms, they show opposite Nalanda Rich (Rich only in name). A stay in small rooms without amenities (drinking water, glass which was been not even in the interest of the management as mentioned by the restaurant Staff). Service which we received is bad or literally Nothing as the restaurant Staff and front office was not much interested in the same.

The management really need to understand the needs of tourists and should change for the betterment of travel and tourism industry.
