I had gone here with my family in October'21 and had the whole house boat to ourselves. Staying here has been an experience of a lifetime which has nothing to do with the owner/oyo. No wifi inspite of being mentioned in the facilities. The property is poorly maintained with worse food services. Breakfast was complementary which included milk tea, bread and butter only, even that was given after a lot of waiting (1½ - 2hrs). Lunch and dinner was pricey and tasteless. Cold and small quantity. Hot water was not available. Too many mosquitoes, that too without any repellent. Rooms and common area are well furnished with plenty of Kashmiri items . It even has a terrace. We spent a lot of time there. But the location! It is located in such a place where the views guaranteed that there's no moment to waste. It is situated near gate no. 2 of Nigeen lake. Nigeen lake is any day better than dal lake. Scenic unpolished unpolluted unparalleled beauty. My mother especially loved the location. She even saw the rare pied kingfisher. It was a treat to the eyes. Advantage/disadvantage was taking a shikara to get to the mainland. Autos near gate no. 2 are frequent and commuting is feasible but a bit problematic when compared to staying in dal lake . Inspite of everything it was a pleasant stay and I will like to come back again.

This is not a paid/biased review. The houseboat is in Nigeen lake not dal lake. Dal lake is crowded. Nigeen is silent and beautiful, best for sunset. The houseboat is in between the lake, you've to reach their by boat provided by houseboat owner free of cost. The owner (Mr. Abdul Hamid) and his son (Faizan) are very very generous people. They'll focus only on tourist satisfaction. They provide excellent service, breakfast, meals, stay and cab service at very reasonable price. They'll manage your whole tour and make sure you don't get cheated anywhere. Just one advice "Visit houseboat Nairobi, trust Hameed chacha and don't worry a bit about your trip"

Average houseboat not so good Room level not up to the mark Toilet conditions also not good. Owner not provide fresh towel or shops, shampoo really this appointing me No food Owner creating money only by houseboat they don't want any customer satisfaction
