Hotel JK Star

Not satisfied with the quality of food served. It was a haunted restaurant located on an untidy marketplace. Food was uncooked and the staff wasnt coopeative at all...they were unprofessional as well...no parking facility...the street is very congested and no parking facility nearby...the roads outside were all covered with garbage and everything sounded bad. Not recommended at all.. They took a long time to serve the food as well.

Silchar is a budget commercial trade centre, I have been there for the same, the hotel is ideally located in the hard-core trade centre of the town, fledged with all basic amenities including a restaurant, both are well maintained. Appropriate for traders only. The hotel has no parking space even for a pit stop moment.

staff of the hotel is Good and supportive. Food of the restaurant is ok. but the location of the hotel is not good at all. it's inside a vegetable wholesale market. roads are very clumsy and unhealthy. i am giving 4 star only for the bad location otherwise all are good and ok for staying in ghis price level.
Few things i will want to add for further improvement of Hotel service. First you people should change at least bed sheets every day. i am staying 6 days in this hotel and they not even change the bed cover not even a single time. Secondly you people should provide clean towel to the boarders. That's all.
I am suggesting all these only because i like yhis hotel. if they improve these this will be the best hotel in silchar at this price point apart from the location. Thanks.

Situated amidst a much crowded market place, with literally no parking space in front. Rooms were not so neat and clean and the room given to me even has no locking facility, forcing me to carry the valuable things along with me whenever I left the room

Lack of maintenance. It is even situated at a very hectic and dirty area. Service is average. Rooms are average too. Even some rooms are below average. For food it's not a bad option. But no parking area available makes it hard to visit

Staff is nice and cordial. Service quality is very good. Sometimes food is very spicy other than that it is good and hygienic. Local transport is easily available to commute.

I booked a single bed room through Goibibo. Staff were friendly and food is priced high here. If you are a keen hygienic person I would suggest you look for other hotels. Moreover it is situated in a very busy part of Silchar i.e. Fatak Bazar . Also take a look at your room before checking in . Many rooms are without ventilation so if there is power cut-off you will breathe carbon dioxide. Surprisingly they also provide you with a TV without subscription ( no set-top box/cable).
Laundry service is also available.
