Rajendra Hospital

Its a budget hospital there are many rooms for patients. I think for general ward 500Rupees, lowest room rate is 900 but few only, 1200 Rupees some other rooms. There are different rooms also available here with higher rates. Good Parking Area for Two wheelers and cars, awesome canteen foods, Good staff's.

Rajendra hospital is a one of the earliest hospital in kozhikode as well as in kerala.

It will give host to prime primeminister nagagalak nehru at the time of his kerala visit.

The hospital is facilitate good ambiance and quality treatments. The ortho surgeon m.k vishwanathan is the one of the major attraction of this hospital.

The pediatric division is also good. But the urology section need improvement.

The causality is seems an avarage service.

Overall this hospital will facilitate better care.

Actually I punched myself to realize I am in a hospital . One cat was walking very comfortable through the corridor.
Its better if reception staff can smile a little .
Landscaping and exterior ambiance is good but they need to work on basics of operations in hospital . Even it smells bad when we wait out side the Lab.

Pros:
*Excellent, professional and experienced doctors
*Extremely caring and loving nurses, with quick response

Cons:
*Very poor infrastructure
*Room doesn't have an intercom or buzzer. Need to go to the nursing station if any help is needed.
*Bathroom doesn't have geyser. Need to ask the housekeeping staff to bring hot water, and the wait is pretty long.
*The corridors are flooded with rain water, making walking through them extremely dangerous.

The doctors here are very good specially the pediacs and the casuality doctors, but the PHARMACISTS here are very slow when it comes to billing and giving the medicines. We have to wait for a very long time to get the medicines. Arrangements have to be made to make it quicker.

Good location, easy to reach, calm place,having parking space (back side of main building), Rooms are renovated from the status of nursing home to a hospital. Treatment is good,reasonable in treatment expenditure.The problem I find fault with is pharmacy service. it is taking too much time for serving medicines and another one is old system of registration and booking system is still continuing. if both these are corrected and updated definitely a good hospital that anyone can suggest
