Tharbaling Homestay

This is one place which will remain etched in our mind forever. There is beautiful greenery all around. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the host. The family & the staffs were extremely friendly & well behaved. The atmosphere was so special that it really felt like home to us. The service, ambience, food & hospitality were awesome. The warm gesture by the end of the day was also amazing. All respect for Mr. Lama & his team,who do a great job here, a true example of excellent hospitality.

Had a wonderful stay. Excellent food and the ambiance was great. Superb hospitality. The place feels like home. The location is perfect too it's near Batasia loop, Ghoom railway station, Ghoom monastry and what not. In addition to that the rooms are well maintained and clean , the views are awesome from the balcony. Most recommend this place for a comfortable stay in Darjeeling. Really peacefull.

First and formost they provide tap water. Though they have acquaguard. Other home stays provide Bislery bottles.
I have suffered severe diarrhea for their contaminated water.
We have asked for acquaguard water from the owner. But they didn't give it and even lied.
Secondly, location is bad. It's closed in all sides and you will not be able to enjoy the nature.
Finally, service is not good. They get irritated if you ask for room service.

Please dont go there.
You will suffer from dangerous dysentery.
Unlike other homestays, they will lie and give you tap water.
Moreover, the place is closed in all directions. So if you're expecting to enjoy nature, forget about it.

I like everything here.comfortable staying all time hot water from geyser .tasty and hygienic food started from breakfast then lunch as well as Dinner.All family members are very friendly and helpful. I like everything nothing I disliked about this home stay.I am saying with honesty that people who come to this Home stay once will love this definitely .
