Central Museum of Nagpur

Not a big museum..have good halls/pavilions for biological history, war history, stone, bronze metals , paintings from Indian culture, tribal areas, Nagpur and around area. This museum is old fashioned ,but you will like to see it from outside. The monument is from British era and needs some improvement. Overall a Sunday well spent in a museum visit.

Its a regular museum. Covers history of and around Nagpur. a great variety of collection of ancient articles, monuments, paintings, pictures, history, photo gallery, art gallery etc.

Great place, most of the people in nagpur don't know about this place but it's a must visit place. Full of many sculptures,arts and other antiques.

I enjoyed the visit. Take food with you good food is not available near/inside the museum

I have waited for 1 yr to go there..Very well managed and detail study of all specimens nd figures available .. must visit
Tickets are of mere 10 rs and u can also click pictures without any permission

I can't believe Nagpur has a place like this. Surprisingly, the ticket is only ₹10 per person. You should bring your children here so they can see in real life what they have seen or read about in their history textbooks.

Here you can find ancient tools , fossils, dinosaur bones , coins, paintings etc.

If you are a serious about museums and want a unique and intimate visit to a museum with Indian history, this place is for you.

It’s very big and amazingly detailed paintings and sculptures.
We spent one hour there to get a full appreciation of the presented collections.
