What an amazing place for anyone who enjoys a day at a museum. It's very huge and there many many museums as a part of it. There's Natural Selection museum showcasing specimens of birds, wildlife and aquatic life, there's also a coins museum dating to coins collection from the Mauryan period, etc. There's a textile museum where you can do an activity of block printing on cloth. There's also a gallery which showcases work curated by artists. There's a jewellery museum as well. The entire building architecture is anything but unimpressive. If you're a college student, carry your ID card or fee receipt to get the ticket for half the actual amount. The ticket fare for foreigners is too much, 650 rs., hopefully they will lessen it a little to make it more accessible.

Excellent collection of artefacts. I've been here four times so far but always leave feeling like I haven't explored enough. The staff is helpful. Make sure you buy a pass to click photographs separately because this place is filled with a plethora of objects that you'd want to capture. Plan a nice weekend the next time you want to visit. It easily can take up to 5 hours to go through the entire museum. It's a must visit! Highly recommended!

If you love history, culture and art then this museum is a must-visit.
To cover the entire museum peacefully and without hurrying, you require at least half a day.
The museum has many sections and every section is impressive. The most impressive was the section where all the sculptures are displayed.
The entry fee is 150₹ for an Indian which includes the camera fee as well.

The museum is huge and very well maintained. There's an entry fee of 150rs for indians, but it's worth it. You can easily spend 4-5 hours going through all the galleries, ranging from prehistoric era to coins to textiles. There's no canteen inside, so maybe eat before you go in. I'd recommend visiting if you normally enjoy museums. If you're not a museum fan, you might get bored.

A Place that offers you many more insights, knowledge, fun altogether. The Heritage museum is richly filled with marvelous artifacts. Nicely maintained, with proper security, parking space, clean washrooms, drinking water facility etc. Camera is allowed however with a charge. Entry fee for adults now is 150/- that includes camera fees. You can easily reach the museum from CSMT station via bus or cabs. Post Museum, do enjoy sunset at Gateway.

Museum is now open full expect top floor. Now it is 100 years celebration time.

Entrance fee is Rs.100 per person, i strongly recommend to take a camera ticket for a group of members.

Parking facility available inside, normal it tooks around minimum three hours time to spend. Many departments are available each is unique and speak the history of the culture and our civilization.

Inside there is well maintained wash room available. Drinking water facility available on the ground floor.

Second main thing is one children museum available for kids. Never ever forget to visit there even if kids are not available.

Lot of working material and Book are kept there for kids for FREE to take home. Good time to spend for kids in the museum.

The staff of the children museum are very good and excellent service provider. They can help you in any doubt regards to the children museum and they will guide very well.

Some of the trees are planted there to show your kids about the tree and how they looked.

Each and every minute you spend there is more valuable, luggage are not allowed inside.

Gift shops are available in the museum campus there you can but some best things, and one book Shop is available inside the museum at ground floor.

Amazing museum in the Fort area of Mumbai! The artifacts kept here are very rare and a lot of information is also written. One could easily spend 2-3 hrs roaming the place. It's also very aesthetic for photos and very well maintained. Good place to visit in the afternoon 👍

Place that offers you many more insights, knowledge, fun altogether. The Heritage museum is richly filled with marvelous artifacts. The structure of main building is from the old era which is really impressive. Nicely maintained, with proper security, parking space, drinking water facility etc. Entry fee for adults is 150/-.

It was a beautiful experience to roam around such a clean and very informative place, so much to see with proper information aside.

They also have a children section where you will find a variety of animals/wild animals, sea animals, birds, etc.

You can easily reach from CSMT/CHURCHGATE railway station via bus or cabs, the distance is walkable too.
