It’s a bit hidden Museum - in the old „The Homeless Leper Asylum of Bombay - run by a NGO, which has collected old documents and the history of the disease especially in Maharashtra and it’s capital Mumbai and the Acworth Hospital, which was founded on 1890. The ideas was given by Mr. Sharad Naik and now mainly used for educational purposes to create awarness and keep the knowledge about Leprosy live. It also explains the history of the development of treatment and has wax models displayed. The entry is for free, but I would recommend to make an appointment.
