Beautiful place...with a broken Ashok pillar in the centre... archeological evidence, greenery everywhere during monsoons and winter season...neglected by government

Nice heritage place to visit

Very nice place but the government needs to clean this place. This is a historical place, there is no arrangement for food and drink, so you are requested to bring water and some food items with you if you come to visit. Thank you

Buddhist site of Kaushambi is imp place but UP govt and ASI both have not even put sign board indicating the site..Travel ahead of police station near Jain temple there are 2 sites

Very peaceful place

This place only and only historical monument. Those people visit there who loves historical place there is nothing for entertaining

Good place but pillar is broken from.top and there is no where mentioned anything about this pillar on the site.

A lot of history goes around the pillar. The place is called by number of different names

1. Ashok Pillar
2. Bhim chhari

Though the climate in second last week of March is moderate ,the place is quite hot as the area is not much surrounded with trees and is almost an open ground.

I believe the best season to visit is in winter . Also, as a part of tourism ,one needs to beautify the place to some extent
