1406 me Ibrahim shah Sharqi ne kannauj fatah kiya aur 1408 tak ye Shandar Masjid banavai. Masjid ke Mihrabo aur Mimbar ka Katba bahot Khoobsurat h. Isme Quran ki Aayat Khat-e-Sulus me Pathar par Tarashi Gyi h. Khush Navisi ka Ka shandar Namuna h.

Built by the most prominent Sultan of the Sharqi Dynasty of the Jaunpur Sultanate- Ibrahim Shah Sharqi in 1408(same year when the shahi Atala masjid of jaunpur also completed by Ibrahim shah sharqi) This more than 600 years old magnificent Mosque of kannauj has great Historical Impratance we Don't realise! A liitle far from this grand mosque two very glourious and good condition tombs(Makbara Makhdoom jhaniya) and One Very beautiful & magnificie Masjid just beside these two tomb( famous as 54 khaba Masjid) is situated . both Tomb & Mosuqe is built by the last Sultan & 2nd most prominent sultan of Sharqi dynest Hussain shah sharqi in the year 1474.
