Water gate and secret door to fort

Super place that of the tipu's secret way

It's a secret gate to enter srirangapattana fort. People called this gate name as water gate because to confuse other dynasties who want to capture the dynasty . gun point also here to shoot outersiders .first time British know this secret gate then they were captured fort by this gate in 1799 and Tippu killed by them.

Different experience to hear it out from the guide. Understand this is the place where tipu sultan was betrayed and the British entered the fort from this place. Very historical. Would suggest to have a guide to take you through this place. Sold be very enriching...

I was told about this while going by it on road on my tour. Small historical landmark.
