Dell Exclusive Store - Kollam

I bought a dell inspiron 5482 laptop from this shop on 28th April 2020 at Rs 51000 (on Amazon it is less than Rs 42000) . When I checked the software it was found that the warranty is expiring on April 3, 2021 which was supposed to end on April 27, 2021. I contacted the store(remember that it is the dell exclusive store) and reported the issue. They promised to resolve the issue immediately. It has been a week and I called back since the warranty was not updated. They said that they have send a mail and it takes more time and asked me to wait. Then I called the dell customer care and resolved the issue within 10 mins. I recommend NOT to buy a laptop from this store. The brand is providing warranty. You can get the same irrespective of where you purchase it from. And also the same machine is available in College junction store on 3 years warranty. The terrible thing is that when I called back the store to inform that the warranty has been updated, no one picked the call. All these happened during the lockdown period. I would say that they thoroughly exploited the situation.
If you check their reviews you will find that the review has changed from good to bad in the recent times or within a year. May be due to the irresponsible behavior of the staffs.

before 1 month, i brought a laptop from this store, now another laptop purchased. i got more knowledge about laptop.well trained staff is there. so i am happy customer.

As is the case with pretty much any store in Kollam, this dell showroom was also least helpful when I went there with a monitor query.

I had the best experience at maple store. By first laptop was from here and had the best customer experience. They are very kind and friendly .

Their products are overpriced 😏.
Bought an ssd for my laptop and a hard disc case from here. They charged a good ₹1000 more than the online price of the same ssd. Buy from amazon or flipkart you will get a much better deal 🙏. The hard disc case just stopped working from day 1. And they refused to replace the product. Will never buy anything from here again. Thanks 😡.

Serviced my laptop here. It took almost a week to get fix. Laptop work fine now. But the employees attitude towards the customer is not good as we expect..

They have no interest on the customer. The way of they treating customers is the worst. I strongly think that they don't have a responsibility to make a customer satisfied. This is the worst experience I have faced ever. Please make sure that employees are dedicated.
