The worst experience of buying a second hand car of my life. This was my first car, a hyundai i10 sports which I bought from a sweet talking uncle who is also one of the owners of OM motors. I read the reviews of OM motors which as per the review is excellent online, I purchased a car which was a 2013 I10 Hyundai sports. While taking the test drive, the car did not start initially, the uncle said beta that's because of the battery, I will change it for you, I got the car at 3.50lakhs. he provided me with previous servicing papers and 6 months warranty for the car in case of any issues. After a week of the car being with me, it started giving me starting problems, it would not start, I changed the battery to a new battery as I was given the same old battery. Again I had starting issues. I went to the showroom for a thorough check up of the car and I was advised it was a flooded car i.e. it had been in flood water and because of it you are having this problem. I called the uncle and said about the issues, he as a smooth talker told me beta I have been just operated upon and now that you bought the car which will stay with you for a long time why not do the repair work ,so I asked about the six month warranty and he bluntly said I can't do anything about it since when you took the car it was fine and does not count into the warranty. I was stunned and felt miserable. I have spent 50000 on the car to repair the problem. My problem is that the trust once broken will always stay broken. I will never recommend buying a second hand car from OM motors ever to anyone. If you still want to buy it , then please ensure to get a experienced mechanic along so that you don't get cheated like I was. Because blindly trusted whatever I was told about the car. I just regret this whole experience. I wish it would never had happened. I am have added the picture of the cars with the number plate depicting that I bought it from OM motors to verify the authenticity of this post. I am a genuine customer who does not wish for someone else to go through what I went through and thus I am providing a detailed description.
