University of Calcutta

Calcutta University is a 165 year old university. The university ranks 4th in the 2021 NIRF. The university has 14 campuses. The teachers here are one of the best teachers in the world. The teaching learning process at the university is very good.

Great University. Great reputation of decades. Established before freedom of India. Pride of Bengal.

Best campus. Good environment.. Eco friendly. Staffs are also friendly. Library is vast and awesome. Best place for study.

One of the worst universities. I don't know how it ranks in the university rankings. Teachers, Management, faculties all are corrupted and politically connected. Their education system and the way they teaches is very old types. They have not updated themselves. Syllabus are too vast but values are too less. Maximum teacher don't know the way to teach. College gets money to develop their infrastructure and use technology of smart classes to teach their students, but the smart class system is just installed. Teacher don't use them. They are just for showing purpose.

University of Calcutta is truly an emotion that can't be described in mere words. The campus is big enough but not as modernized as the public universities of developed nations. It lacks some infrastructural benefits but you will get world class level education from some of the best, renowned and well experienced teachers here, that you won't get in any private institution.🎓 It holds 8th rank in overall ranking in India🇮🇳 and 1376 in the world. One might think that why 1376 in the world? It is because of the of the poor and age old infrastructure it has. Still most of the places in the University of Calcutta are not wheelchair accessible. A lot of dirty politics runs in the campus. These are some reasons for the that world ranking but overall you will get world class education here. That's guaranteed. The Darbhanga (or Dwarbhanha / দ্বারভাঙ্গা) Building inside the College Street campus of the University of Calcutta is the principal seat of its administration. The 4-story building is 110 years old (built in 1912) and an architectural masterpiece with specious interiors, huge corridors and an inner courtyard. The upper levels offer great views of the campus, its trees, statues, and the Centenary Building that, in 1968, (sadly!) replaced another architectural gem - the 1873 Senate Hall of the Univirsity.

I have spent the most beautiful time of my life here , I love this place a lot, it was always like a dream-come-true for me. Pls respect that opportunity you have, although you may hate it for a little while when you being here but trust me you're gonna miss this place more than that for sure ❤️

Any kind of official work related services takes too much time and also it's too complex for a student specially who coming outside CU i.e non-cu student. Huge prosess complete by you if you a migrated student. Otherwise it's best University👍👍
