School of Mines & Metallurgy is an Extraordinary Department of Kazi Nazrul University, Asansol ( Main Campus). All Professors are well Educational Background with Industrial Experiences & deliver their Lecture best to the Students. SMM needs a lot of Improvement & I wish it will be improved time by time.

I am persuing my B-Tech degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from here, we are the first batch of B-Tech program. Till now my experience is good, Professors are very highly qualified and illustrative on any topic and very helpful to students. It is in the campus of Kazi Nazrul University, Asansol.

Like education in Minining & Metallurgy, need under graduate course in Horticulture,Fishery & Forestry as after minining activity land remain unutilized.It will complete the demand of this coal area.
