Department of Mathematics is the one of the best department of this university since the establishment of the university (1960). A lot of eminent alumnus of this department working all over the globe.

I, Netai Charan Batabyal, was a student of physics department in 1976-78 session.
Passed MSc in physics , these days are memorable days in my life. Gratitude to my Sirs Many many thanks to my friends, and to all.

I love this department,,,,it is one of the best department of the university,,,,the department have a large number of teachers,,,,,,they teaches the student and guide the research scholar very well,,,,I am a student of this department, session 2017-2019
