Kolukkumalai is very beautiful hills near Munnar. It is on the way to beautiful meeshapulimalai.It represents the real beauty of nature. Height of Kolukkumalai is about 7,130 feet (2,170 m) above sea level and lies some 32 kilometres (20 mi) from Munnar. The hill top village is accessible only by jeep due to rugged and rain drenched roads covering up to 17 km. It is about a one and a half hour journey from Munnar town. The exact location of kolukkumalai is in Theni district (Tamil Nadu) . The approach road is via Suryanelli near Munnar in Idukki district of Kerala.

One of the best . Must visit. The jeep safari was thrilling. The View form the top can't be express. Such a beautiful place. Best time for visit is morning. The sunrise view is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.... Better to go in a non holiday day because it will become a big rush.

one of best place for those who loves adventures. the view from the top of the mountain was awesome. to reach the top you need to take a jeep which will cost around 2000 to 2500 which will carry 8 peoples.
the jeep trecking will take around an hour to reach the top. the jeep treck was awesome and you will never forgot that ride once you gone. it will be best if you go in morning or stayed in a tent at the top of the mountain. that will be a verity of experience.
their are also number of view points like eco point, simha para etc.. you can cover all those points in a single jeep journey

One of the best sunset scenery. To come here, first u must book a jeep for rps 2000/7 person. No private vehicle is permited. U can experience 16km of up and down offroad ride

It was a good experience. The sunrise and sunset point was amazing. Good place for trekking. Loved it.

Climbing the peak before sunrise is a tiring task. The jeep trail is rough and the jeep shakes violently throughout the way. After the jeep trail, you are required to climb the rest of the way through the tea plantation in the dark, which is about 2 km approx. And the path is very steep and slippery near the peak.
After all that, your hardwork is paid with the most surreal scenery ever. The sunrise is breathtaking. The wind is very powerful but pleasant. The signal reception is very bad so you can't upload instagram pics from up there. Overall the experience is worth the effort.
