Cuddalore Bus Stand

Not a great place to be in.
I have been at this bus stand from my primary school level, and it remains the same till now.
Cleanliness is not followed in any place of the bus stand
Not blaming the govt alone, its also the public who need to be responsible enough to keep their surroundings clean.
It would have been better if there is separate locations for local town buses and route buses
Bcoz of which there is ultimate chaos at the peak times where everyone is rushing behind buses
Too much of room to improve

The central bus stand has two entry gates and two exist gates. It has adequate space. Maintenance is very poor. There is no proper sign board. A new comer has to ask the locals to get the proper place.

This place is not sufficient in present conditions to cater for a large number of buses.
Paid toilets are in dirty conditions, doors are broken.
Bus stand and it's surroundings aren't clean. You can see the dogs and cattle sometimes inside.
Hope the authority will take care about this.

Departures and arrivals are efficient and inexpensive. A lot of unpleasant personalities, but like everywhere else. They also have small areas to buy food and not so bad restrooms. The time office is easily approachable for bus details.

Not crowded but there is only one pay and use toilet it's not clean and at the corner hard to find prices are higher than usual even the tea shop guy tries to set their prices high if you are a local guy people drunk are sleeping hear but if you sit and watch without interfering no one will distribute you...

One of the busiest state bus transport stations connecting Puducherry with rest of South India and other states

Over crowded during peak hours in day time

Refreshment, quick purchase shops, rest rooms, infant feeding rooms, enquiry for bus routes available

Here Chennai only 24hrs bus service. All other destination night 11.30 to morning 4.00 am bus service not available. Some destination only operates unconditional basis. Night shops avail for refreshing with coffee & snacks. police booth also in bus stand. So safe place for ladies and children.

You will every bus to Pondy or Chennai. The bus stand not that spacious during peak time. You will get help though for anything. The enquiry centre is helpful.
