Namakkal Bus Stand

My native place namakkal
And small bus stand compared to other districts
And public restroom is not clean
And buses for Salem,Karur,erode, Coimbatore etc

Bus stand is going to move near to railway station within a year,Municipal Administration Minister K.N. Nehru promised to start construction works for the new bus stand here in six months, after land acquisition works for approach roads ends.

The Minister conducted a review meeting with Namakkal Municipality officials regarding the bus stand construction works at Mudalaipatti.

Speaking to reporters, the Minister said that 13 acre was bought from Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR and CE) for the construction of the bus stand. The bus stand would be built on 10 acres with a capacity of 50 buses to park and with 54 shops.

The Bus stand of namakkal is very small one compare than all other districts in tamilnadu. It can be nearer to the namakkal Fort & the big Anjaneyar temple ... All station busses are available here like trichy, Salem, Erode, Coimbatore, Chennai ... Buses are not available @ midnight... So, please avoid ni8 travel in namakkal...

You won't get buses regularly they wont follow timing and if you going on a midnight you won't get any for Karur and I What is the use of keeping the time sheets
My kind advices dont get stuck there,
Tamilnadu government transportation is worst on this
Please remove the banner by mentioning timings

The bus station has been made nicely. The buses are organized as per platform no. Food stalls are also there in large no.good restaurants inside the bus stand.

Its typical Tamil Nadu bus stand so don't expect hygiene and cleanliness.
Govt should not take initiate towards this.

No Buses available up to midnight...
So please avoid night time Travel here.

They need maintain bus stand neatly.
In night or day time safe a bags.
Public toilet cleaner.
child milk feeding room available.

Govt bus stand == worst.

Govt need to take severe action.. allot some inspection PPL over all busstand to watch.. if someone is watching none will commit a mistake.. put spot fine other's will afraid to do.. Toilets pls don't use.. food worst quality.. we need to maintain some decorum.. We have to change the identity of govt busstand.
