I was looking for Kerala Rtc buses and that buses parked opposite to bus station across the street (you need to cross road)

Localites can make use of the bus services well.. There is no proper place to sit if there are more than 20 people waiting at a time..
People here if your waiting for a bus to Vellamgiri hills catcha bus for Poondy and frome there after <5km to begin the hike, for Isha foundation once in 30 to 40 minutes thers a bus for you..

Area full of stray dogs. Tea stall people asks you more money if they find you as an outsider (other state).

I recently visited the Gandhipuram Bus Stand and I must say that it was a pleasant experience. The buses available there go to a variety of places and are available at any time of the day. The service was good and the staff were okay-friendly. The only downside was that it was quite noisy and not very clean.

It's a big bus stop we came from Ooty to this bus stand. But while going there was no bus scheduled, we had to take the bus from 2km ahead known as new buss stand.

This is the bus stand where u can find bus towards isha from 4am bus will be here they charge 50 rupees, From here Coimbatore railway station is around 2.5 - 3km u can walk r u may choose City bus which cost 10 rupees from railway station.
