District Transport Office, Golaghat

The District Transport Officers in district level function as the Secretary & Regional Transport Authority. As the Secretary of Regional Transport Authority, he is to issue permits for transport/commercial vehicles and renew the same.

Worst the DTO Officer always comes lately, have to wait approx 3 hours everyday

Very bad services...for a files we have to deal first with a sweeper. For 1 day work we have to come&go for a week...no toilet

It's a place of public harrassment...most of the work are done outside the office... computers and xexors shop with extras charges.

Now a days DTO office Golaghat is friendly. Behaviour of DTO Sir and other staff are helpfull and friendly. I appreciate them.

Transport access is good... One can have their work done in a preferred time

I would say that the office is good enough but needs a lot of cleaning. The better the office looks, with better equipments, better the work ethics. Also, the road is very narrow. As this is a District Transport Office, it needs to be in a place where there is room for 2 heavy vehicles to pass eachother and also, there should be plenty of parking space with proper parking guide lines.
