Location is between Tirunelveli and Tuticorin and serves as transit junction for express and local trains. Very basic facilities available at station and neglected for years. Things are improving now I hope it may improve further in few years

Historical Railway Station. Juction for Tuticorin and Tirunelveli. Some of the superfast express trains only not stopping otherwise all trains are stopping here. The canteen in the railway station is very tasty and econmic. My favourite railway canteen. You can see coupling and de coupling the engines of tirunelveli tuticorin passenger trains. Very neat and good scenic station.

It is the railway junction between Tirunelveli and Madurai. For trains to Tuticorin, passengers have to get down and change the train. Favourite trains are Muthunagar express and Tuticorin to Mysuru express. It is a historical place where British official Ash durai was shot dead by freedom fighter Vanchinathan.

No canteen and bus stop is also small and bathroom facilities is old and close

Very worst junction. Basics facilities are also not available. Stage number, restroom, route guide, etc.

1. Very well maintained 2. SCENIC BEAUTY IS GREAT 3. Small canteen is there 4. Lots of colorful benches to sit. 5. Access to local buses and auto at fixed time available 6. Staff was warm and helped in guiding passengers

2nd 3rd platform is under maintenance so difficult to move from 1st platform to 4 and 5th platforms. It's take time to cross that. So plan in advance
