Nainital view point

The view point is an incredible place to see almost all of Nainital as well as the pristine lake. A great spot to spend some time admiring the lake.

This bend in the road is where you can get a great view of Naini Lake: it looks like a paisley or a mango from this angle. There is no formal signage or structure here, just a few vendors selling packaged snacks - and there is invariably a bad traffic jam, since the road is too narrow for two lanes of traffic plus also the selfie-seeking tourists. Five minutes, even less, is all you need here.

Good place to visit with family and kids. Also you can also enjoy some light snacks there like maggi, sevpuri, golgappa,chana chat.

Few meters ahead there is Himalayan view point from where you can have the spectacular view of the Himalayan range provided the weather is clear. If you plan to go early morning till 11 am chances of getting the view increases.

Professional photographers click your pictures with the view and the traditional Kumaon dresses that can refresh your memories in future.

If you like adventure you can also go for Naina peak or Cheena peak trek of 2 kms which starts from the point which is near to Naini view point.From that point you can have full wider view of Nainital and the naini lake.

Nice spot. Beautiful view of Lake, valley and mountain. Take as many photos as you can...but unable to capture the beauty seen by our eyes... Must visit.

Don't follow google map here and shortcuts if coming via rented 2-wheelers. The shortcut is very steep and dangerous. Instead take the main-road long route and ask the locals.
