Note- do not follow Google maps, it will not take you to the Naini peak. Read more to understand.

This is a beautiful experience, possibly the best thing in Nainital, which is located about 10 km from Nainital’s Mall Road. To get to the peak, you have to trek for 2.5km from the starting point which is a non descriptive entry, which you can find in the map as

‘Naini Peak Trek Starting Point’.

This is just beside an old Maggie-point. From there, the 2.5km hike will take like an hour and half to get to the top, from where you will get breathtaking views of Nainital. It’s preferable to wear shoes and carry water.

The entire thing will take 4-5 hours. So come prepared.

You are young and visiting Nainital for the very first time, you must include this place. Trek is not very difficult, it is around 3-4 km. It will take around 1 hr to complete but the trek is worth it. You will get a scenery view. You can spend some good time there. At the top you will get maggie and tea.

The Naina peak trek is a paradise for trekkers as it throws at you a mix of the trials which is uphill, steep and beautiful. The forest becomes denser as you move uphill. The 6 km climb can be completed within a span of 1-2 hour. The peak offers fresh air and scenery which feels to be from a different world. With Himalayan ranges on one side, Nainital city and lake on other and picture-perfect greenery all around, the trek is highly rewarding.....

If you want to choose one trek then it's worth to choose it
It will take 1-1.5 hours to reach at top
For adventure you can try some shortcuts
Better to do it in morning and day time, not evening near sunset

Beautiful place. Calm and peaceful
Neat and clean. But you have to trek to get their and once you get their it will be worth all the hard work and there is a small house there ,from where you can order your eatery and all.

Trekking is one of the reason why you should definately visit this place. It has a trekk of 3-4 hour. You will love the view from the top. It has an amazing trek with snow at the top. You will find the trek quite difficult due to melting snow but it's fun and safe. It was an amazing experience for me. Would again go for it. Best place to visit while in nainital. For me it's my favourite place of nainital so far.
