It is a beautiful and one of the unexplored places of Ramnagar, it is near chunakhan, a mini adventurous track where you can go with you family or friends. Old people and people with knee pain do avoid as it is up the hill.
Natural waterfall in the midst of the jungle, no food or beverages allowed which is keeping the place near and tidy.
Open - 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

First we took the route that Google showed but that road was under construction then we had to take another route which was little longer, we paid 150 for 2 person and parking.
Almost 30 mins walk up the hill and through dense forest since the place is not crowded the forest path gets scary. After reaching there it's peaceful and you can spend 1hr easily. Just stand in the water, taking bath is not allowed.

This is a must visit place when you are in Jim Corbett or Ramnagar. All nature lovers will love this place. We visited here in March and it is amazing location. From the main entrance to fall you can take stairs use road (towards left of main entrance). This place many times better than Corbett fall. If you want to choose between Corbett falls and Barati Rau, go for Barati Rau. Not many tourists visit here. Paid entry. Keep drinking water with you. Worth visiting.

Easy to reach just follow google maps and on your left hand side, where your map ends you will find a big gate , if not walk a bit more but keep looking left 😆
You have to take a hike for one km ( mostly stairs) so must wear nice shoes (avoid heels) I won’t recommend this place for elderly people and kids below 5 yrs ( because otherwise you have to carry them)
Carry a water bottle just in case you get tired. After 10-15 mins you can see the water fall from up top ( refer picture)
I have seen some people taking another route to go down as well to see the waterfall up close. But we avoided as it was getting hotter and we had a child with us. You will have a wonderful feeling of deep dense jungle for 5-10 mins 😆.
You can see the water gushing down in a narrow lane (drainage) and when you start your climb.
If you can, you must go

This place is heaven I visited early in the morning with my family and a toddler was with me it was walking dangerous track of around 2 kms and after completing you 2.5 kms track you’ll surprised after seeing the unexplored beauty of the nature. One advice wear shoes and pants while on the track and carry some food and water with you because I bet you’ll not come before spending 3-4 hours sitting their and enjoying the peace and beauty of nature.

So this place is around 1 km walk towards hills and the view is not good as shown in the other images...

Its to far from your touch and no means of visiting this place.

Better to trek in Rainy a fine view can be seen at that time else its normal.

But But if you want a good Nature walk near Ram Nagar then this one is a best place to visit anytime.

Nice place close to nature where you need to walk in the jungle for about 20 min. Not that easy for old age people but mid aged also need to buckle up to burn calories. No place to eat or buy anything so don't expect much. Otherwise beautiful and worth visiting place and I strongly recommend it to those who visit Jim corbett.
