It's a great view point to watch sun rising. It's a small place but view from there is beautiful. There are small shops at the top. One opened after sunrise; others were closed. It was around 4-5 km from our hotel.

July 26, 2022, 6AM, Rain drizzling, windy, clouds floating over the mountain, and clear valley view. Amazing experience. Just 10 minutes drive from lake boat house. A must visit!

Yercaud is a small hill station just like Kolli hills and Yelagiri but it is different because it has a beautiful lake. The Manjakuttai view point is along the 32km loop road, this road is must see, it starts and ends at Yercaud. All the view points are along this road. This particular view point is very beautiful and scenic and not far from the main road with plenty of parking available.

Its said a good place to view sunrise but the days we visited were cloudy and there no tourists at all and all the stalls were closed. Good thing about view point in yercaud is the road access which is easy. Its an average view point. Many stray dogs were seen here.

Manjakuttai View point is best to witness Sunrise if the sky is clear. So plan to visit this spot before sunrise. I witnessed sunrise for the first time. Golden Ball moving out of the clouds and the entire mountain will be glittering with the sun rays. Spent quality time there with family. Enough parking is available and snacks shop available. We do have a good viewing point there. Nice place to capture stunning photos with family. Enjoy the bright sun and it beauty from this view point.

Best viewpoint to enjoy Sunrise in Yercaud. Check the sunrise time and reach the location at least 10 mins early. Amazing view of nature including mountains, trees, clouds, homes, roads etc and with all this you will feel the experience of sunrise. Do not miss and enjoy Sunrise here. This is a must visit view point if you are traveling to yercaud. The cloud like a cotton candy moving on top of mountains is literally a eye treat and this is the first time I am seeing this. Make sure you see the sunrise time and reach the place atleast 15-20 minutes before. There are tea shops available in the parking lot which is in the top of the point. A good place to view the sunrise in the morning in yercaud. It is to be felt rather than describing in words. Must visit places in yercaud
