Vidhyadhar Garden was built in 1988 in the memory of Vidyadhar Bhattacharya, the chief architect to Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh.
He is also celebrated for being the chief architect in designing the beautiful and elegant city of Jaipur.
Constructed with a unique blend of Mughal and Hindu designs, the garden is now one of the most popular picnic spots in the town and is a visual treat for the tourists owing to its flamboyant lush green landscapes and elaborate architectural patterns.
Home to pristine lakes and charming flower beds, the garden is like a breath of fresh air amidst the chaos and cacophony of the bustling city.
Best time of year: September - February
Best time to visit : 4:30- 7pm
Tickets : 50 during day, 100 during night
.
Just a normal garden with a pond in center and few citron trees. Surrounded by Aravalli mountains.
We had to visit as we took a composite ticket covering 8 places for 400. ( Biggest mistake).
.
In olden days , a garden for the queen. There's a peela mahal n entrance which has no entry.
.
At the end there's neela mahal which is made into s restaurant again not worth visiting.
.
Only good thing is free car parking.
