Came across this place while checking routes to Nartiang and just decided to visit on a whim while returning from Shaktipeeth temple Nartiang. And, boy, it was worth it. Meghalaya has no dearth of waterfalls. This one, fortunately, is not so well known among tourists. So, we were the only family and had the entire place to ourselves to enjoy and have fun. There are no entry gates, barriers, fees. Just park the vehicle on the road and walk down to the cool waters. The place makes for a great picnic spot and family outing and can be combined with visit to Shaktipeeth temple and Nartiang Monolith. The road from Nartiang is not very good, full of potholes. The area is sparsely populated, so any picnic party will have to bring all supplies.
