Trekked to the mouth of Nohkalikai Falls. Trek was overall short but challenging. Would not recommend kids or elderly people.

One of the most beautiful waterfalls I have ever seen in India.. Best time to visit is October to end of November.. After November the flow of water gets very meagre whereas during monsoon Or late monsoon one can see it at its glory.. Try to visit here at the early hours of the day because noon the place begins to get cloudy.

You can't complete your Meghalaya trip without seeing this waterfall.. Very beautiful waterfall with a very pathetic story about its name, 'Nohkalikai'

More trekking. Little tuff, not recommended in the rainy season. Chilled water be careful before diving into the pool.

U need to have good rock climbing experience to reach to the mouth of the Falls..also its very dangerous too in bad weather as any rain can flood the area and there is no escape path except to go down 340 meters and then straight up to heaven..

So DYOR before going to the Mouth...

One cannot simply miss out on the fun of standing under the tallest waterfall in India – Nohkalikai Waterfall. Standing 1115 feet tall, this spectacular waterfall is a wonder of nature in itself. You can witness the tall waterfall standing on the edge of the cliff from where it looks like a thick, white rope hanging from a lush green cliff.
