You have to take the road to nongstein from shillong. This is in the middle of that way .. It is a good picnic spot. Take your own cooked food, a choices there are kind of restricted. I would say the journey is better here than the destination. Road condition is pretty good, you will love to drive on these roads. In shillong I think road to this place is kind of best among all roads and the scenes that you encounter along your journey will be magical. At Mawphanlur there are lakes that you can see and spend your time well.
