THANGSHI WATER FALL

Nice place to visit. Peaceful, calm, close to nature.
I have always known this place as "Sadu Chiru Waterfalls" (even the signboards in the area, tickets all have this name) and more popularly as "Leimram Waterfalls". I am not sure whether this place is also called "Thangshi".

Beautiful place .. The travelling especially from Imphal to this area has been my most memorable experience in Manipur ..The landscapes / The Humble people of Manipur / The greenary most importantly .. Wow .. I can't put it into words, it's been 2 years already .. I'm pretty sure I'll be visiting Manipur next year.

In Imphal Manipur this fall is around 2 hours drive from main city. Natural clean water fall is so beautiful you immerse in its purity. Not many tourists here . The paddy fields around this area add to the beauty. Best time to visit is June to September as the water is at its full speed during these months. Leave from city early in morning to reach there by 11-12 noon to get enough time to enjoy

What a lovely waterfall... Absolutely remote, serene and soulful. The sound of the water gushing down is music to ears.
The place is reachable by a short comfortable walk from the car parking.

The best thing is the availability of stalls selling variety of ready snacks and plenty of country liquor in multi colours.

The worst thing is the trash people have thrown all over.

The waterfalls are pretty and the sound of water is such a stress buster . But there is a little trek from the car park to reach the place. Kindly wear good sport shoes if you wish to go and visit this place. And if you are planning to carry some snacks, kindly carry a dustbin bag too and bring back your trash as people have ruined this beautiful thing with trash.
