Lovely place. Beautiful lilies. Nice boat ride lasting for an hour and half. Friendly Mr Sali. Knows only Malayalam though. People are not business minded. More of friendly vibe. Went in the morning as recommended in the net. Didn't regret. Strongly recommended.

Really pretty place. Road is very narrow and hence parking space is also limited. As we went on a day when there was no crowd, the people there were quite sweet. 100rs per person for an hours ride. No extra charges for parking in road side. Was able to pluck the flowers for free.

Visit only at season time to see the flowers or else it would be just paddy fields.

This is indeed a must visit place. The water lillies bloom in paddy fields in bulk during crop intervals.. Locals row you around the blooms on small country boats. Charges around ₹100/- per person. Worth every penny. Best time to visit, between 0630 - 0900. This is a seasonal bloom, post monsoons.

Even the name says 'Malarikkal Sunset View Point' make sure to come at the morning to see the real beauty of the place. Because you can see the blossomed water lilys only at the morning time. The flowers will be withered at the evenings. You can go for boating here. They are charging hundred rupees per person.

Excellent place in kumarakom very nice place to visit with family lot of Lily were there really beautiful place we went with the family in a boat ktdc rent was only rupees 750 per hour very economical ride also the boat driver was very good in explaining all the birds and all the areas showing villages and everything excellent facility by Kerala government to our voting was very good visit this place and found really beautiful

Malarikkal is beautiful and scenic tourist spot (paddy fields) near Kottayam. From September to November, these fields will be filled by Water lilies and the entire landscape turns to pink. The splendor must be seen.

It’s a good place to see the beautiful sunsets around the year. Water Lilly season will be only after the paddy cultivation. Starting from August to October first weeks. If you want to see the bloom have to visit early morning like before 08:00. After the sunrise lilies start to fade. Small shops nearby. Please don’t litter the place.

Nice place. Best time to visit when its not raining and between July to September. Had light rains when we went yesterday. Reach by 7 am to enjoy it maximum. We were charged per person 100 for boat ride.
