It's quite a big waterfall. Right next to the road, but you have to get out of the car to see it or you will easily miss it. I saw it in March end and it had adequate water level.

Big and beautiful waterfalls; its on the side of the road connecting Cochin to Munnar. A nice place to spend few moments in nature and click some good photographs. There are few food vendors nearby to have some snacks as well.

Beautiful waterfall on the way to Munnar from Cochin. Ample opportunity to get wonderful photos. The falls is fenced and hence you can't play in the falls but safer this way in my opinion.

You will get vendors who will take a photo ond give instant print of photo.

it is on the road side. it is a good view from the roadside. visited during monsoon season. the fall was at peak at that time. i visited many times but the beauty is at monsoon. water drops will splash to your face by the force. it is an awesome experience and view. the chill view can be experienced only. you cannot enjoy the fall by going in to the fall. going to the fall is restricted

The first waterfall on your way to Munnar.

° Taking a bath here is probably not recommended.

° you can just stop by to take pictures / break from driving.

° PAY AND USE Toilets available.

° Petty shops available for purchasing accessories like caps, Sunglasses or other fancy items. Some also sell snacks.

Amazing waterfall, there is a view point on the road where you can park and observe the waterfall. The waterfall is strong during the monsoon, with fog covering the entire area. Its quite scary to see the water fall during the high monsoon season , as the current is strong.

Cheeyappara waterfalls is located on roadside. It's just amazing. You can visit this waterfalls onthe way to Munnar. If you visit in the perfect monsoon season you can really feel the nature and enjoy.

We can take some amazing photos of nature and ourselves.

You can't go near to the water as there will fencing for safety reasons. But you can feel that atmosphere. Opposite to the waterfalls there will be an fantastic view and fog. It feels so amazing.

You can also have some food there. There will be street vendors selling the food items like sweetcorn, pineapple and etc..

Both Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls are pretty close to each other and are located on the way to Munnar from Ernakulam. They are roughly around 45KMs away from Munnar and we can see them from the main road itself. Cheevappara is very very close to the road and you can feel the water drops splashing when we stand close to that.

It's very beautiful to watch and almost all the tourists will definitely stop here to enjoy the natural beauty of mother earth. Kids would definitely love this, hence if you are planning with family, then make sure you stop here and spend a few minutes.

Since it's crowded with tourists, there are a few stalls that were set up so that we can grab some food and soft drinks on the go.
