Kadamakudy Lake View Point

Absolutely beautiful island with amazing flora and fauna. Away from city rush, it's a blessing and lot of improvements in the locality. Nice parking area and small shops for food lovers.

Gorgeous place, pristine backwaters. There are many fish processing units, Chinese nets and very very small huts selling toddy or tender coconuts. There was one boat available for a ride but isnt available all the time and everyday. There aren’t any amenities or shacks or hotels which is a good thing, gives the place a beautiful rustic vibe but is very close to main city. There are good eco resorts around. There are stretches of beautiful road with water on both side. It’s an experience. Not recommending after dark

Awesome place for a peaceful and lazy day hangout. Clear sky, large water body, migratory birds to watch. Couple of icecream and tea vendors are available. Carry your water bottle and an umbrella. The paved pathways are well maintained. Senseless tourists have littered the place with plastics and wastes. Authorities must take steps to install and clear more dustbins. They can also plant more trees that can offer shades and make this place attract more people.

a nice place to spend the evening. can be crowded easily. And have to travel a lot through narrow streets and bad roads. not sure if the travelling is worth to enjoy the lake view. better to go by bike. anyhow a different view and ambience from the city. would be okay if the accessibility is bit more better.

Best spot for an evening visit. Can be easily reached from Ernakulam town.
Water logged green fields gives a great view. Stalls with tea and ice cream is alse there.
Might get busy in the weekends.
Carry an umbrella if visiting at noon.

The place is really scenic and beautiful. It is a great place to relax and chill with family or friends. The paddy fields, stream passing by and blue skies makes an excellent combo for a great evening spend. There are nice walkways through the fields. I could enjoy a beutiful sunset here!However it is very difficult to park a 4 wheeler. It is better to reach via 2 wheeler. Also the place is heavily crowded on weekends.

Recommend to visit in the early morning or evening after 4pm.

Couple of road sides shops sell tea coffee and snacks .
Please keep the water body clean, have seen lot of plastic waste in the lake.

A great place to enjoy some quality time near lakeside. The natural beauty of the place is beyond explainable. This place offers an instant relaxation of mind if you are blocked up in the busy city life. There are couple of snack centres nearby so that you won't be left out without food. Better visit during evening time so that you don't want to get exhausted by the heat and to enjoy a good evening walk.
