Great view from the top! And it's a km or two hike from the parking area. There is nothing specific to see at Thangalpara except a big rock next to a Muslim Dargah but the view during the small trek is worth going for.

Heritage islamic place around the edge of the hill.., if you bring your children to this place please be careful. Because there is no boundary fence here, if you slip a little bit it may cause a heavy injury.

Witness the amazing view from the top.

One of the famous tourist attractions in vagamon. The view from the top is just awesome. Around 1 km climb is needed through the rock to reach the top of the thalgalpara hill top.

Those who wish to try can do that won't be much difficult but be careful while climbing through the rock. There was a yellow mark available throughout the hill we just needed to follow that so that we could reach the destination safely.

Once reached we can see a muslim durga along with a tomb. And the view from the top is juts awesome. We don't feel tiredness we can experience nice breeze.

Please carry water along with some snacks as needed and don't through waste around there to keep the place neat and clean.

Parking fee is 30 rs for car and there is entrance free. Washroom facility also available.

Tough climb, and not recommended for the weak-kneed. But as the saying goes, "Harder the climb, better the view". A saying that's very much apt for this location. Takes about 20-30 mins to reach the top. Avoid climbing during rain as the slope gets more and more steeper at the top. Would recommend first half of the day at meadows and 2nd half at thangalpara. Would make the perfect day(for people who'd like to spend more time in their spots, and not rush through the travel itinerary that is)

It is one of the highest points in Vagamon Mountains and is worth climbing through the steep rocks to enjoy the chilling weather and the breathtaking views around. At times you will be completed covered (hugged by misty clouds) by the passing mists and when the mist clears up, the panoramic views would appear so fresh and serene.

Wear proper shoes and keep every step carefully if you wanna reach the top of rock to experience what I stated above!

Carry drinking water, umbrella, nuts and energy bars and keep yourself hydrated and energized while hiking and enjoying the scenic natural spot.

Had it not been for unruly and loud tourists, Thangal para would have been a great place to remember
