I think this place is quite refreshing. It was soothing to sit by the river bank and watch the sun set.
And the road by the river side is very beautiful and calming. I love this place.

Just one of the best places to chill out for, just beware on the weekends or during festivals that this areas stays filled with people on the road so try not to bother getting over here. Otherwise best sunset place. I've visited this place quite a lot over these years. The best!

There is no better place to learn about the culture and traditions of Assam than Sualkuchi. Known as the weaver’s village, Sualkuchi produces the best kind of silk in the state. For the same reason, it is called Manchester of East. you will be delighted to see the village houses made of bamboo and mud. Its ethnicity and rustic charm are what makes it famous places in Assam and popular among travellers who love to go offbeat.

Guwahati is surrounded by amazing picnic spots and has several places abundant in natural beauty. One such spot is the Brahmaputra river side. Known for the beach festival in April, the Brahmaputra river side offers a cool breeze and a beautiful view to all those who visit. During winter, it is also where you can spot various species of birds. The Kachari ghat is the best place to enjoy the view and ambiance of this beautiful attraction in Guwahati.
