I grew up playing here.. so obviously I am getting a bit nostalgic.. let's come back to the review..I gave it an okayish review because now it is not maintained properly as it previously was. The rollers are not run over the pitch on a regular basis.

This is the top ground in hooghly district . Very good maintenanced , near serampore station . Nice gym. Good culture, very nice and peaceful atmosphere.

This has the potential to become a sporting hub.
Great infrastructure, just needs to be maintained and updated.
Open in the morning for limited hours to the general public.
The evenings however could be used for kabbadi leagues or cricket leagues with tickets being issued. This will generate revenue for the government and be good for sporting talent.
Those visiting, please don't litter on the ground.
This is over 70+ yrs old , many of the concrete seats have disappeared. The west stand smells of garbage , the stench is horrendous. The surrounding areas lack sanitation and there is a garbage facility next door.
