Gitanjali Stadium

My personal experience is this stadium looks beautiful at times and bad in other times.. So it has seasonal beauty 🙂, gets cleaned up during any events/bookings.
Good for morning walk/jogging, next to acropolis

This place previously used to be a large playground for various activities like cricket/football/picnic. I used to play cricket here. However the lush green ground was handed over for the construction of the Acropolis mall and Gitanjali stadium. The mall is now a very frequented and loved spot for citizens. However the stadium is totally unnecessary. It used to be a public spot for leisurely activities. The stadium has destroyed the aesthetic beauty of Rajdanga. It is hardly used (not maintained either) and not accessible to the public. Either the place should be opened to public at all times or the stadium needs to be brought down and converted to a park.

Location Great and the stadium including ground looks very charming beside ACROPOLIS MALL.
BUTTT..no maintenance is found. Garbages, dirtyness are seen here and there. Plastics and torned polypacks are seen everywhere on the ground. Toilets are like hell. The entire concrete gallery including structures is broken or damaged, in various area iron structures have come out.

We went to the Soul Local concert held at the Gitanjali stadium on 24th & 25th Dec. The atmosphere was mesmerizing, and blazing with colors, music, food, and music lovers all galore. It was a fun time and I can't wait to go next year. What wasn't fun was the entry system for which we had to queue up for nearly 1.5 hours outside and that process could be smoothened and hassle free next time.

Visited Gitanjali stadium for a concert.
The place is large. I am not sure about how much the field is maintained right now. Seat capacity is good. Seats are of cement, doesnot come with shade.

Location is good. Though the property is not taken care properly. The washrooms are not well maintained. Mainly it's given to schools for annual sports but basic amenities like parking is not allowed within the stadium, though there is ample space at the background.

Cool breeze, and a seat at the corner with a book on your lap . It's called heaven.
After wine and a date straight from Acropolis, it's a great evening to spend for you. A lot of events takes place here, a place or venue for (mostly) outdoor sports, concerts, or other events and consists of a field or stage either partly or completely surrounded by a tiered structure designed to allow spectators to stand or sit and view the event.

Big playground with seating arrangement in gallery but irregular maintainance make this place very much dirty and look various part of the gallery very much poor. Basically the toilets are very much dirty. No water in urinals. Price of the foods are abnormally high .
