Location is nice, ambience is nice. The wall color gives a soothing feeling.
Upsides: Authentic South Indian food, The Chutney, Sambar and Vada was really delicious
Downsides: The Prices are way too expensive, 60 Rupees for 1 Vada is way too much.
The Dosa was kinda thick and the filling was not very tasty. It was ok.
Overall, this restaurant is decent however there are better options.

Taste of food is very good. Price is a bit higher side but probably to maintain the standard. Costs around 500 to 600 for two on an evening snack. No long queues. We were the only ones dining there on our day. Courteous staffs. Overall nice experience.

We went for dinner and had idli and masala dosai. The food was very good. It's surprising to see they have perfect recipes idli, dosa, sambar/chutney all done the right way (even in Chennai it becomes a rarity to find this good hotel now). Service was quick and not much wait time. Prices were high (almost 2x compared to similar restaurants in Chennai) not sure it's in general the city has high pricing. Definitely would recommend for any one looking for south Indian breakfast or tiffin. dosa/idli varieties are primary speciality.

Good south Indian food, price high a bit, but according place price okay...but only one thing.... several times asked the service provider that in sambar daal with onion?
Replied no onion...but having sambar daal with onion a bit annoying .

Good restaurant with limited seating capacity. Clean and hygienic place. The food served is tasty but I prefer to have food in hot condition which was missing. Service is good. Overall worth visiting and value for money.

It was our first time visiting banana leaf. Had high hopes by looking at its Google profile. The place looked all clean and well maintained till the food arrived. Huge mistake we did not take pictures before sending the food back but we definitely found an insect's limb in curd rice and when told a waiter about it he legit put his finger in the food to take it out and prove it was cumin stem. Minutes later, people on the other table complaint of getting stale idlis served to them.

After a long time we made a visit to Banana Leaf and must say we had missed one of the best places to have South Indian food.

We ordered Rawa Cheese Onion Masala Dosa, Dhaniya Masala Dosa and Sada Vada. The freshness just made us even more hungry and drooling.

How can one visit here and not have Filter Coffee, the aroma made me want to have one more but I couldn't risk my sleep.

The ambiance is fairly simple and the staff is friendly too. The orders didn't take much time to get to our table.
