Guys, This place doesn't appear so good on the outside as it does on the inside and with the quality of food served but it's a really nice restaurant around. Only Veg. Clean and well maintained toilet facility. Awesome authentic Malnad style food.

This a pure "Halli Mane" (Village Home). My pics tells you more. Regarding the food, it's not masala based or spicy but a typical Chapathi-Chutney-Gravy-Rice-Sambar-Rasam-Curds-ButterMilk-Holige(Obbattu) only BUT at their BEST. Just like home made maintained by a granny and another lady. They prepare hot rice on mostly need basis. Served on plantain leaves and ambience is neat, clean and spacious. Cost as on date is INR 120. Its worth every penny as it's unlimited :) last thing, all this with a 500ml packaged water bottle

Since I loved this place, I made a second visit (traveling Goa-Mysore). (((The food is simple, basic home cooked meal but tasty and most importantly fresh.))) We freshened up before lunch and my brother happened to remark to the lady catering there about the cleanliness of the washroom and she immediately turned hostile (first remarking about staff not being available and that she alone has too handle and what is to be expected of her alone) from there on our service took a while. Another set of guests arrived and immediately went to peek into the vessels laid out to be served. (Since its Covid times she said please don't touch) My dad being a diabetic became impatient and asked her to sevre the rice first instead of chapati (by this time there were five more tables who had just arrived) The old lady serving gets even more annoyed rants something inaudible and goes to the next table to our(the guys who has touched and peeked into the vessel- and starts telling them, 'we' have come here for the first time and are making noise blah blah blah and got really pally and went on serving them happily while) apparently she thought I don't speak the language. I explained to her that we traveled quite a lot to be here and have the meal and we are not first timers at which she shyed away(ofcourse she didn't remember us but that didn't mean she could speak nasty things about us to the neighbouring table). I paid the bill and left and I definitely won't be visiting again for that attitude !
But i highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try a village style meal.

Amazing home cooked vegetarian food. Best location just outside the crowded town area.

Restaurant we visited was Appaji Mane.
Food was not at all tasty ! Service was also no good. Rs 70 Masala dosa had very little aloo masala! When asked how to eat with so less masala? Extra masala can be supplied at extra cost !!
None of the dishes were tasty. Thatte idli
ordered was not supplied.

Very healthy food and hallimane sweet is very famous.

Very simple and hygienic food. Just like anyother humble south Indian home food. Perfect for a quick simple meal.

Food quality is good
Price is moderate and need to improve the surrounding ambience . We can celebrate birthday and other small function.
Maintenance is not up to the mark.
Wash room and sink are all damaged and it should be improved. 😊👍
Parking is on road side. Swimming pool is also there but due to pandami no water.
