We orderd masala, onion,ghee roasts...
What I liked the most is their chammathi and katti chutney..
Dosa maav is somehow a little bit sour..
Ilayada is so good and tasty...
Loved it!!

One of the best tea i ever had from palakkad. Tried vada and chutney as well, which was good. This place is famous for mutton idli combo which i couldn't try. Will check next time. 5⭐ for food

But their wash area is pathetic, especially toilet 🚽 👎👎 . 2 star less just because of this

Good feeling as we can have some traditional curries, dosas etc. Neat environment and good service. Some items are overpriced when compared to other restaurants in the area. But traditional varieties of dosas, nadan chicken and beef curries are superb here.

Good restaurant situated in the heart of Palakkad town. Parking is a problem here. If you are lucky enough, you can find a spot in the opposite of the restaurant, else you will have to keep your vehicle somewhere and walk. The restaurant is 74 years old, but well maintained. We had Chicken curry, Mutton curry, idli, plain roast etc. Curries were good with coconut in it. Idlis were not that soft(may be because we visited during afternoon) Ordered a coffee after our lunch and that was the one of the best coffee I had in the recent times. It was a good experience altogether.

Mutton curry and idli is a must try . Chicken curry and dry was really below average..

Reached here by social media recommendations. No parking. Waiter was good. Ordered idli, mutton, chicken, dosa roast and coffee. Idli was cold, mutton was average, chicken was below average with no spices. Dosa was good. Overall not worth the hype.

Went there for idly & mutton Chaps.

Idly was soft and nice. Mutton Chaps was good. It's not much spicy but the pepper effect will be obtained once we order a hot tea with the combo.

Did not try any other items from here. Will update after next visit (if happened)

I ordered parrota and chicken 🍗 curry parrota is not crispy they Served cold chicken curry is less masala and tasty.
