Best place for couples and student to celebrate your birthday and various types of party MI price is also good. Not high and food quality was also good. Clean place

I checked it bit back. The food was served after eons and the chicken was stale. Felt like chewing smelly pieces of rubber. But now heard they have renovated it. Hope something better has come out of the exercise.
Will risk soon and update my review if there are any phenomenal changes in service and food.
Try only if you like to try different places.

Place was decent...The food was not so good. There was excess salt in the dishes.
The service too was not good , the waiter misbehaved with us. But overall an under average

Hatari is usually known for their mouth-watering Indian and Indo-Chinese fusion dishes 😄. But the James Long (south Kolkata) branch has raised the bar even higher. Let's go in points :

1. The service- incredibly calm guys who could bear with our choosiness.

2. The food- again incredible. As usual we get the all time best "Tandoori Chicken". We tried something new as the chef's recommendation "the Mongolian Chicken" and were flabbergasted by the taste [it became our new favorite 😍]
For main course we had the typical hatari fluffiest butter naan, chicken tikka butter masala,The delicious mixed fried rice and the compulsory Chilli fish in Basil sauce.
And ending it all with some lime soda & deserts.

3. The Cost- exactly double the cost of other Hataris we visited. Food was expensive but at same time it was double delicious than the other Hataris.

4. Atmosphere- Beautiful decorations and aesthetics ✨️ top notch cleanliness and it has also got biggest/cleanest washroom I've ever seen in restaurant of this category.

Surely impressed 👏 and definitely worth it.

Great food and good service with a clean ambience. But spoons and plates were dusty and we were asked to wipe plates with tissue which showed us how much dusty they were.

Crowded on weekends and dishes are available at reasonable price
