Local favourite Chicken & Mutton Pot Biryani. Quite unique in taste with earthly flavour. Mutton pieces were very very soft, tender, juicy. Chicken should have been more cooked & without offals.

Tried local chilly chicken, came with cashew pieces & was balanced flavour taste of chilly- curry leaves.
Chicken were rubbery though.

Not For people too conscious of absolute cleanliness & tidiness. Only for people love to explore local delicacy.

We heard a lot about this place. The gongura pachadi which is served along with pot biryani is good. Together it tastes good. Just the biryani not so impressed.

We ordered chicken Gulzar and chicken pot biryani.chicken Gulzar is above average and chicken pot biryani is below average.

Was suggested this place for dinner while coming back to hyderabad from bangalore. Heard a lot of hype for this pot biryani, so much so that we took a detour into Kurnool town to go there. What did we find? The typical/standard pot biryani, not too much Masala in the rice but the meat was tender and flavourful. Note that they have the same rice for both chicken and mutton biryani. But the accompaniments with biryani - gongura, kaliya and raita were good. Do try their kaju chicken pakodi for starter, will not disappoint. The service was decent and ambience was extremely basic. Do know if it justifies it's hype.
P. S if you are travelling, do try to call about an hour before you go there as pot biryani might not be available when you reach.

Very good mutton biryani. Especially, the mutton is very juicy. Even mutton chilli is very good. Must visit.

Chillie powder rice served in a minute heated pot! Maybe they would have cooked the biriyani in pot during the time of any vlogger visits which gave the impression to many to get fooled. It takes a lot to prepare biriyani in pot and most of the restaurants to save that started to fool customers by taking the heat in pot approach.
Lastly, It's really funny to see the quote 'We don't have any branches' in their name board as if the dish is iconic in its place.

Stay away if you are looking for a real pot biriyani.

I have been missed this place thrice as this place will be closed on Thursday. But has been successful for fourth time, So I have called the outlet and it has been answered by its owner Mr.Prasad Reddy, pre-ordered Mutton Kunda Biryani, he responded well to my request and has been kind when we reached there.
Now coming to the dish..it's been worth every penny you spend on this and it's been the tastiest Mutton Biryani i have ever tasted. Spice lovers will love this, you can ask them to customize your spice levels according to your taste buds.
