A touch over expensive, given the experience, however ambience, property, food, private beach access and serenity gets full marks. the rooms overall + Room Service needs to improve a but more on the service quality front.. access roads and presence of a bar cum restaurant + Spa on the beachside is a seller ! Thank You Blue Ocean Resort team for making our stay memorable.. I would rate 4 out of 5.. :)

Dear all

Those who are reading this, it cannot get as fair as below review.

1. Ambience and Property: A absolutely blissful place amidst natures lap. You will surely be mesmerized. The arboriculture and it's upkeep is fantastic. A beach side resort with bar and snack facilities.

2. Rooms : They have two sets of property. One on other side of road consisting of villas and rooms which are at distance from beach around 300-400m including crossing of road in between.
A private bunglow of owner (not for booking) and 2 Rooms for guests are available on beach side of resort.
The Villa rooms m not aware as i booked beach side guest room and paid hefty sum for same ,though functionally it was ok , but too small and few distasteful things like unwashed curtain, sully doors from underneath, exterior whitewash not doneup, a dog shelter near by which kept barking throught out the night.
Though the view to beach from room is awesome but rooms needs a upgrade.

3. Eatery: The beach side restro serve a basic thali and drinks and snacks. No order from main resturant can be brought here , obviously due to distance and restro policy. So if you are in beach side property you have to go the main resturant or do with basic thali in beach restro. Do book with breakfast option , a decent spread is there and dinner/ lunch menu are fair enough.

4. Facilities : No indoor games are there. Pool is functional however children play pool is under maintenance and extra charges of 500 are there if operational. Gym and spa are available. Though Spa seems to be too pricey. A Ganesh mandir at top of property is must visit as the senic beauty of full coast is visible from top.Volleyball and cricket set is available at beach side restro.

5. Staff : They all are very polite and helpful. Surely a good team.

6. Places worth Visiting: Ganpati phule temple , Vinayak temple(9 km ahead of property). Water sports nearby to property on adjacent beach Rest chill at beach with reading a book and beer.

7. Summary: A good property to stay in !!! I hope it gets a revamp asap. I would definitely visit once more to a upgraded version if done in future course of time.

First of all , this is a 3 star resort service wise with a property of 5 star.
Location is good , rooms are very clean , beautiful beach in vicinity but service is really bad. Rooms are 400m from lobby on a higher level but they have a really stupid rule that only senior citizens get the buggy. Only 1 working buggy for over 50 acres of land. Buggy’s not charged at times. Food and breakfast is pretty average. Rooms under equipped for 5* standard with basics like dental kit, hair dryer lacking. There’s general lethargy in the staff which could be worked on.

Beach side of the resort is on the other side of the road. It is beautifully developed with seating and gazebos . Overall a decent place to stay at Ganpatipule , but doesn’t live up to standards of a five star resort. 3* or 4* would be fine for it. If they work on the Service and the right attitude, it will be a much better place..

It is a great resort — especially the beach side of things. The beach-side restaurant has some great fare as well. Nearby Maalgun is a very pretty village, with a culturally very rich heritage.

The only issue is that the resort is NO WAY A 5-Star resort . It is a 3-Star resort at best. Nothing in the league of actual 5-Star resorts like the Ritz Carlton, Taj, etc. I must say though, the housekeeping staff is super nice. Will visit again.

Recently we have made bookings to Blue ocean for 2 days , three rooms . Payment was to be done at hotel itself. when we reached and seen property we got shock of our life, first of all property is not beach front you have to walk, cross the road and then you can access the beach. Also rooms allotted was too far from reception and garden area in isolated place . They took us in Golf car to show the rooms, allotted rooms were on second floor with no lift , no view and some abandoned haunted buildings ,My parents denied to climb two floors.

Also while returning I asked feedback from one family and couple who have already checked in , feedback given by them was horrible. They provide golf car only while check in , they dont send golf car to reach reception you have to walk walk n walk, one of the couple said if you have not done the payment don’t book here, we made a mistake

There villa rooms are good and near to reception n swimming pool. we didn’t check in due to all these issues. In fact reception itself asked to see the rooms first n then make the payment, they were sure that will cancel the rooms and we have asked for upgrades but they claim they are fully booked.

So we moved to some other hotel near temple, also this property is not near temple almost 4-5 km away from temple.

Overall it was not worth with kind of money they charged.

Firstly the staff is very helpful. We got upgraded to executive rooms after a tech snag we faced at the tropical rooms. These rooms are superb. Food was delicious. Views were awesome. The private beach area is out of the world. The property is massive and maintained well inspite of lockdown and the heavy rains of the region. We enjoyed are stay a lot and will visit again soon.

We took the beach-front villa which had a really nice view of the ocean. But room itself was very average and not well maintained. It was charged at a premium price but was not worth the money. We checked other rooms having lesser tariffs which looked better than this room. Second problem is these rooms are at a 5-10 min walking distance from your car parking and you also have to cross a road which is inconvenient. Third problem was that air conditioning was very difficult to adjust, it either gets too cold or no effect. The breakfast was included in the tariff but was not very tasty. Overall we felt it to be too pricy and not worth the money. You should get a really nice room at this price which is not the case here.

There are wonderful resorts for stay and particular spa are there. this Blue ocean resort and spa has both.
Ocean view, Morning Sunrise is top notch..Wonderful for couples, family and friends to spend their weekend pleasantly..If they want to get lost from the vibe of traffic, work pressure. This place is my priority to go for it.
