The Meadows Resort & Spa

Good location not that far from the city. Rooms are decent but the washrooms weren't that nice. Amazing food and good staff. But the service is a bit bad because they are under-staffed so everything takes some time. But overall a good stay to relax and enjoy being away from city life.

Aged property, needs a makeover. Very peaceful, secluded, huts are spaced apart but good things end here.

Creaking doors, aged locks, loose handles, bathroom tiles falling off, rusted fittings, plastic chairs on porch, patchwork on walls, corroded mirrors.
Breakfast is ala carta, no buffet. They charge for extra water bottles in room (obnoxious)

Don't have words to express I've never been in place which is messy/dirty/unhygienic/not maintained at all.Firstly rooms with torn curtain & bed covers.lots of black big ants / cockroaches in the room 24/7 Secondly AC under capacity and makes huge noise (you virtually cant sleep) & that's very normal for Sr AC Tech. Thirdly if you order only ice cubes in room its not permitted.only if you order liquor than they will serve ice cubes (i'd to be harsh to get this without liquor order on first day)You have to wait in reception without AC in hot environmentNo internet most if the timeNo TV recharge after you complaint they come & replace / recharge subscription The environment is good but very poorly maintained.due to which lots of mosquitos Restaurant is under renovation so you will be made seat outside in non ac area with one pads-trial fan The room AC is under size so if you run 24x 7 it drops to 22/23 deg Celsius We ordered ice (with great difficulty it was having foreign element in itI mean i can go on if my personal opinion the place shouldn't be allowed to do its operation be it F&B or residential for tourist. its nightmare for person occupying the room.Oh i totally forgot its pet friendly resort but unfortunately they chqrge ₹500/- plus GST for hume s best friend & its nor been publushed any where.when you reach with your family & story starts 😡

It was our wedding. These people had promised a location for a particular event. On the wedding day they say that the owner is not allowing to avail that location. Plus, they charged us 35,000 extra for keeping breakfast at a place. This is insane and seems like a theft. They are only concerned about money. They take advance money and give horrible service. Few rooms have no good AC and hot water. No maintenance of such a beautiful property. How ironical is that. These people take you for granted. They blame the caterers and the event planners for everything. They just find a reason to badmouth you and show zero empathy towards you.

I have a few positive observations and many negative ones to share about Meadows Resort & Spa.

Positive Pointers:
1. The resort has a lush green campus with gardens and swimming pools.
2. The rooms are clean.
3. The food is good and prepared as per instructions.

Negative Pointers:
1. Price of food is too high. A plate of Khichdi costs Rs. 350/- plus taxes. The total price crosses Rs. 400/-. Breakfast buffet with taxes costs Rs. 530 /-.
2. The intercom never worked despite complaining twice. Thus, food couldn't be ordered from the room.
3. From the reception, they said that we have to go to the restaurant each time for dining. However, we found that food was served in other cottages. Thus, they treat different customers differently.
4. In the washroom, the exhaust fan doesn't work.
5. In the room, the curtains cannot be pulled up as their strings were out of order. Therefore, you sit in absolute darkness if there is a power cut during the daytime.
6. The Spa provides services to only female inmates and denied a simple head massage for my husband.

Overall, this place doesn't deserve to be an ideal holiday retreat given the money that they are charging.

It is basically a little old luxury resort which needs some maintenance, but there are no major issues.
Really liked the location and greenery in the resort. I would suggest this place for a good getaway from the city.

Property is good but need to maintain properly. Restaurant service is so pathetic, they asked us to wait for lunch and we waited for almost 45 mins and after that also we were not able to get table. For sake of restaurant they have only four tables in restaurant which were occupied and the f&b service is also very slow.
Big disappointment.

Great location as the place is between the city and ellora caves. The rooms are good but lack maintenance and led to some problems. The room service is okay and food is very expensive. Overall nice property for a break.
