Paithal Resort

The receptionists were really helpful and friendly, professional employees who knew how to serve the customer, the room was well organized and the service was excellent. There's a very clean and clear water swimming pool in the resort, a very good place to relax and chill. The scenery was stunning and it was a pleasure to walk in such a quiet and peaceful setting.

Rooms were in average condition.
Swimming pool was clean and very well maintained.
If you are going in group, there is a common hall where you can spend time and do group indoor activities/games.
Good place to relax on weekend.

Terrible service, not even a bath soap inside the toilet. Lazy staff and rooms arenot properly maintained . Rooms are smelly and bedsheets are yellowish in color with insects. View , climate and location is excellent. It’s a government property poorly maintained by private party and they are destroying this property by giving poor service to the public.

A good weekend spot. 1 hour drive from Kannur international airport. Rooms were not up to the standards. Could've been better in terms of cleanliness and arrangements. Food was amazing, a 5 star to chef Gopalakrishnan. Anyways paying that much amount for the room was not worth it but for the view and climate it was totally worth it. Nature at its best motion. Trekking point is 50mtrs away. View from the top is amazing. Overall a good experience.

Resort is located in nice place and much close to nature. Resort is so pathetic, rate is too high as per the room quality. bed covers and pillows provided in the room are so dirty. only bath towel provided in the bathroom and no soap or shampoos. Rooms are average with only basic amenities. Food options are limited with poor breakfast. You will get a bad room with poorest facilities. Terrible smell and stained bed sheets. Dust induced sneezing. And about the pool, it's terrible with brown color water and lots of insects. Rooms balcony gives u a great view to the Paithal hill. Climate is cool.The staff present there tried their best but were not equipped enough. No proper management to look after the affairs.

Been here on a weekend and the place is extremely lovely. Despite the covid protocols the staff did there best ensure our comfort without compromising the safety measures. The food is excellent and tailor made after consulting with. Overall a pleasent and cozy atmosphere. Will strongly recommend it.

We have been to Paithal Resort On March 2021. High Price and clumsy rooms. We paid 2500 for one room (food extra). Not worth it. Rooms are not properly maintained. Full of insects and dust .When we reached, they just sprayed some air freshener to make it feel like fresh. The view and ambience is good, but the service is bad. If they maintained it properly it could have been the best place with such a nice view.
