Beautiful homestay! Incredible view, delicious food and such warm and welcoming hosts. Easy to locate and close to the major tourist spots. I would recommend the treehouse but you also have other rooms as options. Dog lovers beware, you will fall in love with their pets! :)

Amaryllis is an exclusive resort. It's strategic location offering an amazing view of a lake and hills in the distance takes your breath away. The garden is a glorious profusion of flowers and colors of all types. The homestay itself is tastefully decorated and has an air of peace and serenity around it. The rooms are large and have every kind of comfort one can think of. There's a lot of attention to minor detail. The swimming pool, massage room, dining area, long verandahs, lounging areas.... all very neat and tidy at all times. The hosts Victor and Ranjani are extremely attentive, loving and make you feel at home. We meet as strangers, stayed as a family and parted as friends. That's what Amaryllis is all about. Go and experience it yourself.

I would rate Amaryllis as one of the top places to stay with family or friends. The hosts, Victor and Ranjini Dey, go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The views are unbeatable. So calm and serene, you become one with nature enjoying all the lovely landscape as far as the eye can see.

Ambience, food, location, surrounding, everything is top notch and the charm of the property to sit with Mr. Victor and Mrs. Ranjini and you can speak with them hours & hours on any topic. The food is delicious and the ice cream is the best we have ever had!!
The traditions of yesteryear start with breakfast and lunch on the veranda. Afternoon tea on the lawn. ‘Bar opening’ at 19:30 for pre-dinner drinks; again on the lawn and silver-service Dinner. All of this with the company & conversation of Victor, Jini and the other guests.
The impeccably behaved house dogs, Amigo & Sultan, add to the Amaryllis’ ambiance.
We will definitely be trying to visit again to have more time to enjoy the surrounding countryside and visit one or two of the local Plantations.

Love! Love! Love! Amaryllis is full of love and life! When the booking was made, i was not really satisfied with the pictures. But yeah, the pictures doesn’t do justice to Amaryllis. Breath taking views, amazing pool was the things which kept me on foot. The rooms are beautiful, self-sufficient in all aspects. And obviously it feels at home. You can find intricate details which they have paid to create this place. Every corner of this place doesn’t let u go without noticing because its filled aesthetic decors which will want you to touch and feel the artistic work. Get ready to stay and spend time in this lovely picturesque heaven. If u r person who wants everything to be room serviced, this is not a place for u. But their breakfast and dinner had variety options of veg and non veg. They will not forget to surprise you by their Italian dishes like quiche, lasagna and what not! The dessert is unique and u go back to bed with dessert filled tummy! Amaryllis is unique place so far i have been in Kerala, At least in Wayanad. The owner of the place, Mr.Victor and Ma.Ranjini are amiable to the extent so that you feel at home. They sat with us and enjoyed the drink With us. You can have great conversations with them and you will end up missing them when you are leaving the place. The other staffs Basavaraj and Mahesh gives you anything you ask and they help you immediately. Amaryllis for me, is pure bliss and love!

What to say about Amaryllis! I stayed with my family and 2 year son here for 2 nights in May. Amaryllis is a collectors paradise! We were lucky to have early Rain showers which added beauty to this place. The property is almost a plantation on the hill with stunning views of the backwaters. The hosts Ranjini and Victor are always there to interact and help you. The dogs are so friendly that my 2 year son who was scared ended up being friends by the 3 rd day. The food is decent and homely. Victor keeps you engaged with all his stories of yesteryear’s and experiences. The best room is the den with all the vintage collection of scotch and whiskey! I would say you visit amaryllis if you are looking for a laid back vacation and relax. It is certainly not for large groups who want to party and make merry.

One of the freshest experiences I have seen in a stay/resort.
