Club Mahindra Resort - Ashtamudi - Kerala

Very nice property in a scenic location. Weather was hot and sultry when we went but the island and resort was a peaceful getaway for us. Resort has a good swimming pool and arranges for boating in their own jetty. But you might find cheaper options outside. Food is okay but not worth the price

The best location possible!! Very picturesque, quiet and beautiful!
Rooms are very spacious, clean!
Service and staff are courteous!
Things that weren't good.
1) The reception, spa and activity center do not call back and take ages to answer the phone. They never get back even after saying they'll call back. We need to keep following up :(
2) The room service comes in disposable plates and cutlery which is so annoying! Real cutlery would be nice. It's not plastic but paper and wooden spoons that get soggy and extremely annoying to use.

Mind refreshing place. It's a good property.. speed boat and normal boat riding was amazing experience. Highly recommended for this property. Floating villa also there but we can't able to get it because of full slot. If you want floating house then you have to book before 2 month.

Great location. Cottages offer unique experience of living in the midst of the backwaters. Remember well the food , especially the non veg & sea food range being very good. Best time to visit would be Nov-Feb. Any other period it could get very hot and sticky...!!

We had a great time in this trip.the property is simply beautiful but not maintained well. Staffs are very courteous and helpful. The Photo Studio they have in the property is itself an experience.it was amazing taking pictures with Mr.Shibin every pictures they took was beautiful. He is very passionate and the pictures standalone.

Had high expectations but was disappointed...
1. Rooms were clean, however had to call and ask for amenities multiple times. Every small item needed requests.
2. Pool wasn't very clean.
3. Opted for 3 meal combo, and felt that some dishes were repeated for lunch and dinner on same day, with small change in flavor. Non veg was average taste while veg was good.

Had an excellent stay in Oct 22. Stayed in the Studio with Kitchenette. The studio rooms are fantastic and very spacious. The resort is very well laid out and amazingly landscaped. We were keen to stay at the floating cottage for a night but there were no cancellations. Full credit to Mr. Sebastian and Mr. Jason for trying their best. Had heard very good comments from friends about the food at the resort but in reality found it very ordinary in terms of taste though the spread was decent. We had a self drive rental car and therefore had great freedom to move around to Jatayu, Vaarkala Cliff, Munroe Island - by car. I would recommend the resort highly if you have your vehicle with you otherwise it could be a little boring to be resort confined. We stayed three nights and were fully caught up in activities. Don't mind if you don't get a floating cottage, go for the studio with kitchen. Highly recommend the place!

No soap and shampoo in the dispensers.
Toilet rolls were not replaced.
We asked for extra towels for the third occupant which never came.
Food was passable at best.
Location was amazing.
