After renovation under Smart City Plan, Tirunelveli new bus stand has got an elegant look. They have placed sign boards for the each of the inter district and intra district boarding points. Multi floor parking building is a definite plus. Wish it will be maintained as neat as it is now.

Good bus stand far from madding crowds inside the city. Enough space available for further expansion. More restaurants can be added, wash rooms are fine. Children play area outside gives look like a park but inside huge bus stand. Lot of parking areas, multi level stands, spacious walking area

Very spacious bus stand. Able to accommodate more than 100 buses at a time. Here you get frequent buses to Tuticorin, Nagercoil, Tenkasi, Tiruchendur and buses to coimbatore and trichy also. Has wheelchair access at the entrance.

Excellent Bus Station with Futuristic toilet facilities... Doors have no latches so that you don't have worry about putting latches in case of emergency (urgency). It also helps us to know whether if someone is inside or not to avoid unwanted waiting assuming someone is inside. Each and every door has two holes which also helps us to know whether the toilet is occupied or not. It gives us open field experience at very cheap and affordable price 5 rupees...

Not much crowded and vast area. But no chairs to sit / waiting area. Slippery floors which is not suitable for rainy days.
