Wriddhi Pratim
Established in 1958, the District Library of Jalpaiguri provides large number of books of different genres. Formerly there was another building in the same area, which is closed now. You can have the old building at first of your sight as you enter through the main gate. There are two statues, in left it is the half chest Statue of Rabindranath Tagore and in the right, there is statue of Charuchandra Sanyal, who was renowned of his time from this town. Few steps ahead you'll get the new building consisting of the office and ground floor library. Here is one children section. In the first floor you'll get reference books along with competitive exams books.
